Eigenanteile sollten gerade nicht sichtbar werden. Im Gemälde des Jungen mit erhobenem Arm ist es der Körper, der zum Nährboden für Bildideen wird. Diese entspringen allerdings nicht dem Kopf, sondern wuchern unkontrolliert aus dem Oberarm des Protagonisten.
