An experimental play with abstract forms and colors: Planes, arcs, beams, and rods in gray, blue, carmine red, yellow, and black are layered on top of each other, forming a decorative, relief-like ornament. This light-hearted sheet clearly reveals both its provenance from the expressionism of the November Group and Hannah Höch’s concurrent job as a designer of textile and wallpaper patterns.
