Bad Dürkheim, Rheinland-Pfalz: Gesamtansicht von Südosten Laut rückseitigem Vermerk Stolbergs ist das Bild die Kopie einer alten Ansicht aus dem "Catalog des Rittersaals zu Erbach" von 1797 oder 1794, S. 124. Schloß Erbach im Odenwald war der Stammsitz der Familie von Stolbergs Frau Adelheid, einer geborenen Erbach-Fürstenau. Graf Franz I. (1754-1823) und seinem Enkel Graf Eberhard XV. (1818-1884) waren begeisterte Kunst- und Altertumssammler. Für die so entstandene Sammlung in Schloß Erbach ließen die beiden sog. Special- und General-Katalogen anfertigen, die mit aufwendigen und sorgfältigen Abbildungen der Objekte versehen waren. Bei dem von Stolberg genannten Katalog muß es sich um Katalog Nr. 1, "Beschreibung des in Gothischer Bauart aufgefürten Rittersaal in meinem Schloße, 1805" handeln. Dazu: Groh 2010 Günster, Nina/G.
