Die den mittelalterlichen Turm umgebenden, deutlich niedrigeren, modernen Gebäude sind in Stolbergs offensichtlich flüchtig angefertigten Skizze als Einzelbauten mit Satteldächern dargestellt. Tatsächlich aber war der Turm zu dieser Zeit schon von dem noch heute bestehenden, 1852/53 errichteten, geschlossenen Gebäudekranz mit durchlaufenden Pultach umgeben. Günster, Nina/G. U.
