Eine genaue Identifizierung ist bislang nicht möglich gewesen. Der in der oberen Abbildung dargestellte Hof könnte der Schildhof Kalm sein, der allerdings mehrere Kilometer nördlich von Saltaus steht. Das untere Bild zeigt den Schildhof Baumkirch, der aber ebenfalls mehrere Kilometer nördlich von Saltaus und nahe beim Schildhof Kalm steht.
